Our Gift Card Fundraiser is extremely profitable! Your organization will recieve 10% profit from all gift cards sold! Shelmerdine Gift Cards never expire and can be used to purchase everything year-round, from indoor plants to trees, shrubs, fashion, gifts, garden supplies, home decor and more! Best of all, they are a very easy sell to anyone who loves to shop at Shelmerdine. Gift Cards are available in $25, $50, $75, and $100 increments. E-cards not available at this time.
POINSETTIA & HOLIDAY GREENERY FUNDRAISERS
At Shelmerdine, we’re proud of our legacy of helping thousands of local organizations raise money in a way that’s simple, organized and profitable! It’s easy to sell Shelmerdine-grown poinsettias, festive door swags, fresh holiday wreaths, and paper vouchers for these items, because of the stellar quality that we’re known for. Paper vouchers are extremely popular, because they can be redeemed in store, letting your customers pick up their holiday plants at their convenience, plus they get to enjoy a visit to our beautiful holiday store!
Once your group is signed up, we will provide you with a personalized online ordering platform. Simply share the link with as many people as you can. They can choose their fundraising products and pay right on our website. Alternatively, we can provide you with customized paper order forms.
Your organization can enjoy the flexibility of fundraising between September and early December. You choose when to start, stop and take delivery of your holiday plants and/or vouchers. Our team is dedicated to helping you raise funds for your organization. From start to finish, we’re here for you.

Our city-wide delivery fee is $29 plus GST. Shelmerdine offers FREE delivery on orders over 200 poinsettias or on combined orders of poinsettias, door swags and wreaths totaling $2000 or more.
TIMELINE FOR FUNDRAISING SUCCESS
NOW – FIRST WEEK OF OCTOBER
Review all information. Contact us with any questions. Create a schedule for your organization (ie. create package, set goals, assign tasks such as receiving orders).
MONTH OF OCTOBER
Kick off meeting to get participants excited! Introduce them to the potential earnings. Consider setting up reqards for top fundraising earners.
MONTH OF NOVEMBER
Time to sell! People are getting in the festive holiday spirit. This is when you should be having fun reaching your goals. Email your online fundraising link to as many people as you can.
END OF NOVEMBER
Order deadline. Please schedule delivery/pickup time and date with us at this time. Delivery is available November 28th – December 16th, Tuesdays through Saturdays.
* Your Fundraiser End Date should be one week prior to selected delivery date. For example, if December 14th is your delivery/pick up date, you should complete your fundraising efforts by December 7th.
MID-END OF DECEMBER
Receive a cheque from Shelmerdine for the proceeds of your fundraising efforts!
